Dynamic pricing for Shopify, with competitor price tracking
AK: Dynamic Pricing reads the public prices of the stores you compete with, matches their products to yours with the evidence shown, and sets your Shopify prices by the rules you write. Every change is previewed first, stays inside the floor, ceiling and MAP you set, and can be undone exactly.
What it does
- Tracks competitor stores: Shopify and WooCommerce stores are read from their product feeds, other stores from the product data on their pages.
- Matches by barcode, part number, SKU and title, and shows why two products matched. A match it isn't sure of waits for your yes.
- Holds back a competitor price that fails a check (the wrong currency, too old, a sudden jump, a used item against a new one) and shows you why, so a bad read never moves your price.
- Prices by rules: beat or match the lowest, follow one competitor, sit at a rank, a percent of the market; or by date and time, stock and sell-through, days to an event, or past sales.
- Keeps every price above cost plus your margin, under your ceiling and at or above MAP, and limits how far a price moves in one run.
- Previews each run, lets you approve, reject or set your own price line by line, and undoes one change or a whole run.
- Shows what the price changes earned: each unit sold against its price before the app changed it.
- Insights on where you stand, money left on the table, MAP breaks and what competitors changed this week; CSV exports, a spreadsheet feed, webhooks and an API.
- For EU stores: compare-at can follow the lowest price of the last 30 days.
What it reads and keeps
Your products, prices, costs and stock; with your permission, the line items of your orders (no customer names, addresses, emails or phone numbers); and competitors' public product pages. The privacy policy has the detail.
Getting started
Install it from the Shopify App Store, add a competitor's web address, confirm the matches, and write your first rule. Nothing changes in your store until a plan is chosen and you approve a run or set a rule to apply on its own.
